Job Description:

Adecco is currently helping a local client, "the world's largest SEARCH Engine" in their ground-breaking innovating project. It is a 1 year contract with a very good possibility for extension up to 2 years.

Location:

• Based out of client?s Office in Mountain View, CA

• Deploy to various domestic and international locations

Job Description:

• Launch and Recover Balloons

o Up to 12 month contract employed by Adecco Staffing contracted to work at the World?s largest search engine

o $22 / hr starting

• Launch Operations - Primary Role

o Work in 6-12 person team

o Assemble and inventory launch equipment

o Conduct pre-flight diagnostics on flight systems

o Fill and Launch balloons according to established procedures

o Plan and organize operations conducted in remote locations

• Recovery Operations - Secondary Role

o Retrieve downed flight systems

o Work remotely in 2 - 4 person team

o Utilize land navigation and wilderness rescue skills

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrate ability to lead small teams independently

• Experience in Operations Planning & Logistics

• Experience working away from home / foreign assignment. Role requires 70-90% travel

• Physically able to hike 15 miles + per day carrying 50 lb pack in wilderness environment

• Valid Passport, ability to obtain foreign work visa

• Clean driving record (No drunk driving, or more than 2 traffic violations during previous 3 years)

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

• Ability to rent a vehicle

• Clean credit record (must have a credit card)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to provide clear and concise feedback

Relevant Experience:

• Wilderness Search and Rescue

• Expeditionary Trekking Guide / Instructor

• Military / Infantry, Reconnaissance

• Rotary Wing Crew Chief
