Invenia Group is partnering with a manufacturer of scientific reagents, instruments, and services that are being used to accelerate scientific discovery. Research applications include next-generation sequencing, gene discovery and editing, proteomics, etc.
Due to growth, the company is looking to hire a Senior Market Strategy Manager to join their team in San Jose, CA. This is an office-based role.

The Role
The Senior Market Strategy Manager drives global market growth through strategic sales and customer development for the Cell and Gene Therapy market. They will do this by leveraging in-depth knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitors.
By engaging with KOLs, innovators, and the sales teams, this role will capture customer insights and lead the development of business plans and go-to-market strategies. It will also collaborate with R&D and Product Managers to help launch new products and provide leadership in marketing activities, sales training, and customer-facing initiatives like beta testing and early access programs.
Approximately 30% travel and some international travel may be required.
What we are looking for:

• 
  
• Requires a BA or BS degree; MS and/or PhD considered favourably in a Scientific Subject
  
• A minimum of 8 years' experience selling or marketing relevant products is required, or a minimum of 6 years' experience with an MS and/or Ph.D.
  
• Must have extensive knowledge of the Cell and Gene Therapy market
  
  Package
  The US base salary of $165,000 - USD 175,000 plus a company bonus and full benefits.
