Job Description:
The Stanford (CDI) in the Department of Psychiatry and
Behavioral Sciences is seeking a full-time hybrid Communications
Director to work with leadership to develop and implement
communications and marketing initiatives.
CDI is a leading center for implementation science that drives the
effort to get the best and latest treatments to all patients. CDI
consists of three national federally-funded implementation
centers:
The Communications Director will provide strategic direction for
marketing and communications activities across projects. They will
work with leadership, staff, and national consultants to develop
communications plans to disseminate and share our mission, goals,
and work. We are looking for a high energy, creative, and
mission-driven person, with at least five years of expertise across
multiple communication platforms. We seek a professional with
proven expertise in executing campaigns that build awareness of a
brand and its services, preferably for a non-profit or
mission-driven organization; expertise in translating scientific
content to lay audiences; expertise with digital, web, print, and
social media marketing; demonstrated ability to work with multiple
program areas and internal stakeholders; experience or interest in
a mental health, addiction, health, or social service-related
field; and expertise with brand management. This position is an
excellent opportunity to have meaningful societal impact with
national visibility. This position is hybrid with
Tuesdays/Thursdays based in Stanford's Research Park.

The expected pay range for this position is $108,450 - $133,077 per
annum.
