Healthcare/ Wellness Senior Project ManagerPosition Summary:
Provides overall project management responsibilities for a variety
of healthcare/wellness projects and project teams through all
phases of development. Role includes managing client contacts,
establishing and maintaining project staffing, scheduling, and
financial management. This position provides a clear pathway for

to the opportunity to become a Healthcare/Wellness Practice Area
Director and Leader. As a senior leader, you would oversee and
manage a team of healthcare professionals, guide the strategic
direction of the healthcare/wellness practice, cultivate client
relationships, and contribute to the overall growth and success of
the firm's healthcare/wellness practice.Major Duties &
Responsibilities:
- Works independently exercising discretion and independent
judgment, and collaboratively with firm leadership to create
complete, coordinated, and cohesive work products.
- Demonstrates the ability to generate new business
opportunities, foster client relationships, and contribute to the
growth of the wellness practice.
- Directs team members (internal and external) at all levels of
project delivery.
- Successfully controls multiple, medium to large projects at
various stages of work.
- Works with fellow Project Managers and Senior Firm Management
to staff projects with appropriate resources throughout the life of
contracted efforts. This includes the following staff functions:
Design/planning, document production, permitting, bidding, and
construction observation support.
- Develops, maintains, and monitors the project's overall scope,
schedule, staffing, and financial performance.
- At appropriate schedule milestones, presents progress of work
to the client for review and approval.
- Directs activities of team members engaged in preparing
studies, programs, reports, designs, visualizations, models,
drawings, and specification documents.
- Directs activities of workers providing support during
permitting, bidding, and construction observation phases of a
contract.Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises 8+ employees and all consultants involved
in project(s).
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
organization's policies.
- Participates in appraising the performance of supervised
workers.
- Addresses complaints and resolves problems in the context of
the project contract.Minimum Qualifications and Characteristics:
- California licensed architect desired.
- 8+ years of Project Manager experience in a Healthcare
Construction Environment in California is required.
- Knowledge of design requirements, architecturally significant
medical equipment, and industry practices specific to the
Healthcare (HCAI) sector in California is required.
- In-depth knowledge of HCAI regulations, codes, and processes
(OSHPD-1 & OSHPD-3).
- Knowledge of REVIT and BIM fundamentals highly desired.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or related field
preferred, preferably to have the first professional degree in
Architecture.
- Understanding of Lean building strategies desired.
- Experience in carrying projects from Design through
Construction on medium to large projects.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication
skills.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from
clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business and
general community at large.
- Ability to use working knowledge of architectural design and
all consultants' work to maintain project efficiencies and meet
deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and maintain
organization in a changing environment.
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, leadership,
and team-building skills.Salary DOE: $125k-215kOur benefits package
