The Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager reports directly to the Director of Perioperative Services, collaborating closely with fellow Assistant Nurse Managers and senior CNOR nursing leaders. This role will also work in tandem with highly skilled OR nurses, surgical techs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes.
The Surgical Services department provides a well-equipped facility designed to meet the specialized needs of surgical patients. This department, where the Surgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will lead and support, emphasizes a diverse range of specialties, including Bariatric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, ENT, General Surgery, as well as Robotic Surgery. With a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the team performs over 100 surgeries each month, ensuring comprehensive and high-quality care.
The Operating Room ANM will focus on elevating clinical excellence by mentoring staff, fostering professional growth, and promoting high standards in patient safety and care quality. Administratively, this role will support daily operations, including budget management, staffing, and physician relations, ensuring the department remains efficient and patient-centered.
