on our Engineering Technologist Team in Santa Clara, California or
Austin, Texas.What you'll achieveAs a Technical Staff, Datacenter
Architect, you will participate in the development of
next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure including accelerated
compute, AI fabrics, and AI optimized storage. You will engage with
high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their
applications and tune the system for maximum performance. Drive
innovation at the datacenter level with liquid cooling technologies
and power density.You will:
- Be responsible for driving the development of end-to-end
thermal solutions from server to data center, including air and
liquid cooled servers, integrated rack solutions and deployment
into the complete range of data center environments.
- Innovate power-saving solutions to increasingly dense IT
deployments.
- Optimize cost, energy efficiency, and performance of compute at
server, rack, and row scales.
- Work closely with key external partners to create and
communicate differentiated solutions.
- Clearly communicate complex thermal system concepts to
customers, colleagues, and upper management.Take the first step

this role:Essential Requirements
- 12+ years of professional experience and advanced working
knowledge of key thermal technologies, including fans, heat sinks,
cold plates, pumps, computer room air handlers and data center heat
rejection equipment.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of and relationships with key
suppliers of data center thermal management components.
- Ability to take a concept to product and understand competitive
and business needs while developing technical solutions.
- Willingness and ability to negotiate competing interests and
priorities to achieve the best possible outcome for all
stakeholders.
- Ability to travel and assess customer requirements, develop
blueprints based on the customer's geographical area with strong
verbal and written communication skills.Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering with
emphasis on thermal science, fluid dynamics or heat transfer
(Advanced degree highly preferred).
- Customer and partner project/program leadership
experience.Compensation: Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable
compensation practices. The Salary Range for this role is
