Job Summary

• The Enterprise Security manager is responsible for managing the Engineering team that ensures the corporate LAN, WAN, Internet and data is designed and implemented to meet or exceed industry security standards.
• The Enterprise Security Engineers are responsible for assisting in the establishment, development, design, recommendation and implementation of a security framework that encompasses mainframe, distributed systems, network, and web applications for current and new systems.  
• The Enterprise Security Engineers work with Enterprise Security Architect and affiliate security representatives to coordinate and/or lead security architecture activities across the enterprise.
• The Enterprise Security Manager should have a background managing a team that performs software code auditing and knowledge of secure programming techniques. The Enterprise Engineers will need the ability to analyze applications, identify potential security concerns, develop approaches that can be used to mitigate identified risks, and work with clients to implement recommendations.  
• The Enterprise Security team will evaluate new security alerts, threats and vulnerabilities. Will manage remediation efforts and will act as incident leader as required and as appropriate.
• The team will create security project plans for the most complex projects and prepare documentation as required must be willing to respond promptly to security problems reported by users, other IT Support Groups and the Helpdesk.
• Provide detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports as required.

   
Qualifications

• 
  

• Ten plus years minimum experience, including at least five years as a management level security member of a large organization managing and/or designing large scale security architecture.  
• Very experienced in network security, demonstrated knowledge of application layer security API's and protocols such as SSL, Kerberos.  Demonstrated knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, IDS/IPS authentication and authorization systems.
• Five plus years of experience with Intrusion Detection and/or prevention systems. Experience with wireless security mechanisms and technologies.
• Education - College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience. Any of the following certifications CISSP, CSSA, CCSP, CISA are desired.
• Written & Verbal Skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare various forms of reports, correspondence and presentations.  Leadership skills, process and procedure oriented in a large service provider organization, with proven experience handling confidential information in a professional manner.
• Security - Knowledge of ISO 17799, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, L2/L3 firewalls, routing, switching, IDS/IPS, sniffers, SNORT, anti-virus, Spyware/Malware, IPsec, SSL. Knowledge of the following are also desired, Web development background is ideal experience using web proxy, experience with tools like WebInspector or AppScan and familiarity with OWASP frame work.  
• Understanding of security principles in a large organization is required. Experienced in the development and implementation of security policies is required.  
• Microsoft Project - ability to create and update project plans, status reports; presentations and the ability to create timesheets.
• Personal characteristics - Goal and results oriented, high energy and self-motivated. Integrity, honesty, strong interpersonal capabilities and high-energy orientation.  Dedicated team player.  Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and lead junior staff as required.
