Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Mainframe System
Programmer-TSS to provide expertise in solving system-related
problems.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to problem calls from operations and mainframe support
teams
Research and implement resolutions for reported issues, maintaining
documentation in the problem tracking system
Process configuration changes and apply vendor software license
keys as necessary
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience supporting MVS z/OS system environments
Thorough understanding of mainframe operating system principles and
subsystem components
Ability to work independently and manage system recovery for
critical OEM products
Experience with system monitoring software for performance and
response problem determination
Able to perform Stand-alone and SVC dumps for vendor
diagnostics
