Job Description:

responsible for collecting, cleaning, massaging and analysis of big
data. The role will also contribute to defining and implementing
Big Data Strategy for the organization along with driving the
implementation of IT solutions for the business. The candidate will
be working on a big data team to focus on applying data
engineering, data science and machine learning approaches to solve
business problems.As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role
in shaping our data-driven strategies and contributing to the
success of our Big Data initiatives at ADC. You will be responsible
for designing, developing and deploying advanced data science
solutions to uncover customer, product and operational insights
from complex datasets. Candidate should be able to work on a
geographically distributed team. Additionally, they will be working
in a technology-driven environment utilizing the latest tools and
techniques.The ideal candidate should have rigorous analytical, ML
and AI capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to help solve our most
complex business problems. Highly sought-after qualities include

other team members.ResponsibilitiesData Analysis and Modeling:
- Craft and maintain data infrastructure with the Data
Engineering team by translating business requirements from business
partners to data models that will enable reporting, dashboards and
segmentation
- Proactively analyze data and trends to provide insights and
recommendations that drive business strategiesMachine Learning and
Statistical Analysis:
- Build and validate predictive models using appropriate machine
learning algorithms
- Evaluate and optimize models for accuracy and performanceData
Visualization:
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using data
visualization tools to communicate findings and insights to
technical and non-technical stakeholdersData Optimization:
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality, accuracy and
efficiency of data processes, including data cleaning and
transformation
- Define and maintain a central source of truth and normalizing
dataData Security:
- Contribute to data security and confidentiality by maintaining
appropriate access controls, encryption and backup proceduresTeam
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D,
Global Strategic Marketing, Quality, etc. to identify data needs
and provide data-driven solutionsTraining and Development:
- Provide training and support to team and business partners to
enhance data literacyInnovate:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and
machine learning to continually improve data analysis methodologies
and techniques
- Identify opportunities for innovation and propose data-driven
solutionsDocumentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis
processes, methodologies and findingsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics
or a related field plus at least 6 to10 years of recent
experience
- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis,
data visualization and data mining, preferably in the medical
device or healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical
techniques and data visualization
- Knowledge of or direct experience with Databricks and/or Apache
Spark
- Programming language and tool experience, ideally in Python, R,
Scala and SQL plus a willingness to learn new software development
languages to meet goals and objectives
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Databricks,
QuickSight, Power BI)
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data
integration, data warehousing and ETL processes
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as
HIPAA and GDPR
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced,
cross-functional team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the
ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights
for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed
teamPreferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science,
Statistics or a related field.
- Experience working in an agile environmentThe base pay for this
position is $109,300.00 - $218,500.00. In specific locations, the
pay range may vary from the range posted.
