Job Description:

Title: Peer Support Specialist
Job Duties: Peer Support Specialists are individuals providing direct services with personal experience of recovery from mental health, substance use, or trauma conditions. They receive specialized training and supervision to guide and support others experiencing similar issues toward increased wellness. A Peer Support Specialist is committed to their recovery, has maintained it over time, has completed the 80-hour Peer Support Learning training (or equivalent), and is willing to share their recovery journey in an inspirational way.

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
  
• A valid California driver's license preferred
  
• A mental health/SUD lived experience
